About the funder
The Hilke and Fritz Wolff Foundation was established in 2007 by the married couple Hilke and Fritz Wolff, based in Leer. The purpose of the foundation is the promotion of monument preservation and protection through the maintenance and care of architectural monuments and listed buildings, the advancement of science and research, art and culture, as well as the support of local heritage and regional studies. The foundation manages historic properties such as the Haus Samson (family seat) and the Villa Boekhoff, supports restoration projects, and grants financial contributions to non-profit organizations.

Mission & Vision
Our mission is to preserve and keep alive the cultural heritage of East Frisia. We promote the restoration and maintenance of historic buildings, support scientific and artistic projects, and advocate for local history and heritage conservation. In doing so, we place special emphasis on the sustainable preservation of listed buildings and the support of non-profit institutions dedicated to cultural diversity.
Target groups
The funding programs of the Hilke and Fritz Wolff Foundation are aimed at non-profit institutions and public law legal entities with tax-privileged purposes in the fields of monument preservation, monument protection, local history/local heritage, as well as science, research, art, and culture. Projects that serve the preservation and dissemination of regional architectural heritage, historical knowledge, and artistic diversity are supported.
