About the funder

The Horst Rohde Foundation was established in 1996 in Munich by entrepreneur and passionate equestrian Horst Rohde. It exclusively pursues charitable and benevolent purposes and is a member of the Association of German Foundations. The foundation fully funds projects that promote positive interaction between humans and animals. In addition to animal-assisted therapeutic methods such as therapeutic riding and work with therapy dogs, initiatives in the fields of animal, nature, and environmental protection, sports, as well as charitable causes in the greater Munich area and surroundings are supported. Funding is allocated transparently and without administrative costs; the funds flow directly into project work.
