Private foundation

About the funder

The foundation "Industriepreis zur Förderung kaufmännischen Nachwuchses" was established in 1987 by Hamburg entrepreneurs to financially support young industrial clerks with above-average training qualifications in advanced training or foreign language courses. Each year, a five-member foundation board selects two to three scholarship recipients. The beneficiaries have up to 3,000 euros per person available, which can be used within two years for training measures of their choice.

Mission & Vision

Our goal is to highlight the importance of practical vocational training for young industrial clerks and to enable them, through financial support, to access qualified advanced training and intensive foreign language courses. In this way, we aim to sustainably promote young commercial talent and strengthen the skilled professionals of tomorrow.

Target groups

Young, ambitious industrial clerks with above-average results in the IHK examination are supported. The foundation is aimed at all those who wish to enhance their professional qualifications through advanced training (e.g., industrial business specialist, certified accountant) or foreign language courses and require financial assistance for this purpose.
