About the funder
The International Foundation of Indonesian Culture and Asian Heritage (IFICAH) is a private, non-profit foundation based in Hollenstedt (Germany). It is dedicated to the research, documentation, and dissemination of the art, cultural, and natural heritage of Indonesia as well as neighboring Asian regions. Its scope of activities includes a Museum of Asian Culture, a Drescher Archive, and state-of-the-art research equipment. IFICAH cooperates with international institutions and authorities (including the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety) and, in addition to scientific publications, also provides its premises for culture-oriented events.

Mission & Vision
The IFICAH Foundation is committed selflessly to the generation and dissemination of knowledge about largely unknown cultural and sociological societal forms of Asia. Its mission is to research, preserve, and present the historical and artistic traditions of Indonesia in a manner comprehensible to an international audience. Through collaborations, exhibitions, and publications, it aims to create a sustainable awareness of cultural diversity and species conservation.

IFICAH is aimed at scholars and students of Asian and cultural studies, museums, collectors and specialized institutions at home and abroad, companies and organizations planning culture-oriented events, schools and educational institutions seeking practical tours and workshops, as well as restorers and professional audiences in the field of art and cultural assets.
