About the funder
The non-profit foundation inVITAtio (legally recognized since 2012), based in Heuchelheim near Gießen, supports people in need who find themselves in desperate or distressing life situations. Mission & Vision
"Invitation to Life" – inVITAtio aims to enable people to regain hope in seemingly hopeless situations and to experience that, despite adverse circumstances, a life in dignity until the very end is possible.
Target groups
The foundation's funding programs are aimed at non-profit, church-affiliated, and public institutions as well as non-profit private initiatives in Germany that provide psychosocial counseling and support to people in special crisis situations, manage transitions between life stages (e.g., retirement, final life phase), implement housing and living concepts (especially dementia shared housing), and carry out projects for the integration of refugees as well as youth social work.
