About the funder
The "Jetzt Weeze" Foundation was established in August 2018 as a legal, non-profit foundation under civil law, based in Weeze. It exclusively and directly pursues charitable purposes within the meaning of the German Fiscal Code. The founders – in particular the houses Wissen and Kalbeck – contribute the proceeds from wind energy utilization in Weeze annually in a variable amount (at least a fixed sum of €70,000) to the foundation in order to support local clubs, initiatives, and projects. The focus is on all tax-privileged areas, ranging from youth and elderly care to art, culture, monument preservation, education, environmental protection, as well as sports and the preservation of local customs in the municipality of Weeze.

Mission & Vision
The "Jetzt Weeze" Foundation aims to sustainably harness the added value of wind energy for the common good in Weeze. Through the direct participation of the community in the revenues, charitable projects are to be strengthened, local initiatives supported, and the quality of life in rural areas secured in the long term.
Target groups
Eligible to apply are non-profit recognized corporations and legal entities under public law headquartered in the municipality of Weeze. Funding is provided particularly to local associations and initiatives that make a direct contribution to the common good and implement projects in the areas of youth and elderly care, arts and culture, education, environment, monument preservation, sports, and the promotion of local traditions.
