About the funder

The Johannes Ziegler Foundation is the foundation of the Zieglersche, established in 2009. It supports individuals and projects for which there are no other public funds available or implements initiatives itself. Examples include the Vesperkirchen and holiday camps for children from disadvantaged families. The main areas of work are:

- Services for people living in poverty (e.g., Vesperkirchen, holiday camps for children from low-income families)
- Projects to improve life within the Zieglersche community
- Assistance for people from the Zieglersche (including "Heart's Wishes")

The foundation is financed through income from its endowment capital and donations and has already spent nearly half a million euros in its first ten years.
