About the funder
The Josef David Foundation is a non-profit foundation established on the initiative of Josef David, the owner of DBK who passed away in 2001. It contributes to German-French friendship and promotes mutual understanding between Germany and France. To this end, it supports regional development and neighborhood relations in the Pamina region (Southern Palatinate, Middle Upper Rhine, Northern Alsace) through cross-border projects in the social and cultural sectors.
