About the funder
YOUTH for Europe is the National Agency for the EU programmes Erasmus+ Youth, Erasmus+ Sport, and the European Solidarity Corps in Germany. On behalf of the Federal Ministry of Education, Family, Seniors, Women and Youth (BMBFSFJ), the Federal Ministry of the Interior (BMI), and the Directorate-General for Education and Culture of the European Commission, it informs and advises young people, youth organizations, and professionals in non-formal and informal youth education. The agency supports and manages funding schemes for learning mobility, cooperation, and participation projects, focusing on inclusion, sustainability, and digital transformation, thereby strengthening European cooperation and the civic engagement of young people.

Mission & Vision
Our mission is to support young people in their engagement and to enable cross-border learning and cultural encounters. We promote democratic participation, diversity, inclusion, environmental and climate protection, as well as digital transformation through tailored funding programs and comprehensive service offerings. As a National Agency, we connect participants, organizations, and institutions, and strengthen competencies for a solidaristic, sustainable, and active Europe.
Target groups
JUGEND für Europa is aimed at young people between 13 and 30 years old, informal youth groups, as well as organizations and institutions involved in youth work in Germany. It supports young people and professionals who wish to implement projects related to learning mobility, youth participation, and cross-border cooperation. The agency assists schools, non-formal education providers, and civil society actors in the planning, application, and implementation of inclusive, sustainable, and participatory EU projects.
