About the funder

The Youth and Cultural Foundation of Sparkasse Prignitz was established on December 21, 2001, to promote the Prignitz region through targeted and long-term support. It has an endowment capital of approximately 2.99 million euros, which is used to support projects in the region. The foundation exclusively supports non-profit organizations and projects operating within the Prignitz district.

Mission & Vision

The Youth and Cultural Foundation of Sparkasse Prignitz is committed to promoting and supporting child and youth work, sports, further education for children and adolescents, art and culture, as well as monument preservation in the Prignitz district. Its goal is to strengthen the common good through sustainable funding and to go beyond individual donations and sponsorship measures.

Target groups

The funding programs of the Youth and Cultural Foundation of Sparkasse Prignitz are aimed at non-profit organizations such as foundations, non-profit limited liability companies (gGmbHs), or associations operating in the Prignitz district. The foundation exclusively supports projects carried out within the business area of Sparkasse Prignitz. Eligible applicants are natural and legal persons with residence or business headquarters in the Prignitz district. Projects abroad are not funded.
