Jugendstiftung Winkler

Private foundation

About the funder

The Jugendstiftung Winkler was founded in 1995 by Dr. Monika Winkler and Prof. Dr. Rainer Winkler and has since supported child and youth work as well as social engagement in Schleswig. With funds from the private assets of the Winkler couple, the Children's Play Center Schleswig-Friedrichsberg was established and expanded, which they affectionately referred to as their "third child." After the passing of the founders, the foundation is continued by Claus Ehrich and a board team. The foundation supports disadvantaged children and families in the Friedrichsberg district and advocates for their social participation and development.
