About the funder
The Katharina-Zell-Stiftung is a church-affiliated foundation under the umbrella of the State Association of Protestant Women in Hesse and Nassau e. V. Since its inception, it has supported projects that strengthen women, girls, and families in their everyday and life skills. The focus is on initiatives that develop relational abilities, enable crisis management and social participation, and create educational and religious socialization opportunities. The foundation annually awards funds to initiatives and organizations that effect sustainable change and empowerment within their target groups.

Mission & Vision
The mission of the Katharina-Zell-Stiftung is to carry forward the spirit of the courageous reformer Katharina Zell: We aim to encourage women, girls, and families to take responsibility, develop their abilities, and shape community. Through financial and ideological support, we seek to break down barriers, counteract isolation, and promote lived solidarity within church and society.
Target groups
The funding programs of the Katharina-Zell-Stiftung are aimed at organizations and projects that strengthen women, girls, and families in their life and everyday skills. Support is particularly provided for initiatives that develop relational abilities, open up educational and participation opportunities, offer assistance in crisis situations, and enable religious as well as social socialization.
