About the funder

The kfd-Stiftung St. Hedwig is a legally recognized ecclesiastical foundation of the kfd Diocesan Association of Cologne, named after Saint Hedwig of Silesia (1174–1243). With an endowment of approximately €2 million, it has been promoting the personal development of girls, women, and families since 2004, as well as their religious, socio-political, and cultural education. The foundation fulfills its charitable, benevolent, and ecclesiastical purposes through grants, funding projects (e.g., aid for Latvia, individual case assistance, KAG maternal convalescence), the awarding of sponsorship prizes, publications, and the support of innovative projects within the Diocese of Cologne and beyond.

Mission & Vision
