About the funder

The kinder stipendien stiftung was founded in May 2011 and is recognized as a non-profit trust foundation in the field of youth welfare. The foundation's goal is to provide material assistance to children in difficult economic or social circumstances through unbureaucratically awarded micro-scholarships. The support measures range from individual tutoring in mathematics and German to music courses and swimming lessons, as well as participation in class trips or exams. A network of trusted individuals at schools, youth welfare institutions, and counseling centers identifies children eligible for support and proposes appropriate measures.

Mission & Vision

Our vision is a society in which all children and young people—regardless of their social or economic background—have equal educational opportunities and development prospects. We believe that even small, targeted financial support at critical moments can have a significant impact on a child's life path.

Target groups

Children and adolescents whose educational opportunities can be improved through financial assistance and whose families are in economic or social distress are supported. Selection is made based on recommendations from trusted individuals at schools, social institutions, and counseling centers who are best able to assess which measures are suitable for each child.
