Kinderhilfe Münster-Stiftung

Aktion Kinderhilfe Münster e.V. has been committed for over five decades to supporting children and adolescents growing up under difficult living conditions. The association works in partnership with local self-help groups on site and follows the principle of helping people to help themselves. All staff work on a voluntary basis to ensure that donations reach directly and without detours those who need them. Originally, the focus was on international projects; in the future, the emphasis will increasingly be on regional initiatives in Münster and the Münsterland.

"Help for self-help – through cooperation." Aktion Kinderhilfe Münster e.V. is committed to supporting children and young people in a partnership-based, respectful, and sustainable manner. We provide resources, accompany projects directly on site, and promote personal responsibility because we are convinced that lasting change can only succeed when those affected decide for themselves what they need and how to proceed.

The funding measures are aimed at children and young people in difficult life situations – both worldwide and specifically in Münster and the Münsterland region. The focus is particularly on young people affected by poverty, lack of educational opportunities, or social disadvantage, who require support in developing self-help structures.
