Kindsein Stiftung

Kindsein Stiftung is a non-profit foundation based in Hamburg, dedicated to providing all children in their hometown with an equal and dignified start in life. It focuses on three core areas: the school backpack project, which annually provides thousands of backpacks and school supplies to financially disadvantaged children; nutrition courses and workshops for schools and daycare centers that teach healthy eating habits in a playful manner; and holiday programs that offer children unforgettable experiences. The foundation works closely with schools, daycare centers, social institutions, and volunteers, and guarantees that 100% of donations go directly to the projects.

"Being a child must not be a luxury." With this guiding principle, the Kindsein Foundation is committed to removing financial barriers and enabling every child in Hamburg to grow up with equal rights and confidence. Our mission is to provide practical support through focused projects in the areas of education, nutrition, and holidays, while always working transparently to build trust and sustainable impact within the local community.

The funding programs of the Kindsein Stiftung are aimed at children from financially disadvantaged families in Hamburg as well as their parents. In addition to individuals, social institutions, daycare centers, schools, and recognized providers of child and youth welfare are also addressed as applicants, so that all children, regardless of their background, can participate in school life, cooking classes, and holiday activities with pride and without stigma.
