Mission & Vision
Every child should be able to be a child. The Kindsein Foundation is committed to providing children from financially disadvantaged families in Hamburg with carefree experiences, equality, and participation. Through targeted projects in the areas of education, nutrition, and leisure, we create equal opportunities, promote self-confidence and social cohesion, and work in partnership with local institutions and volunteers to generate lasting positive impact.
Target groups
The funding programs of the Kindsein Stiftung primarily target children and adolescents in Hamburg whose families face financial constraints due to low income or state benefits. Eligible applicants also include non-profit organizations, schools, daycare centers, and recognized providers of child and youth welfare who care for these children. Families can submit specific applications for school backpacks, holiday trips, or leisure activities upon providing proof of need. Schools and social institutions may apply for funds for group projects and class trips.
