About the funder
The Koblenz Sports Foundation is a non-profit foundation with the purpose of providing financial grants to non-profit recognized sports clubs and schools in Koblenz for their expenses in promoting competitive and youth sports. The basis for funding is a specially developed statute (as of 24.05.2011) and annually updated funding criteria (as of September 2023). The board proposes the allocation of funds, and the final grant decision is made by the advisory board.

Mission & Vision
The Koblenz Sports Foundation has made it its mission to sustainably strengthen top athletic performance in Koblenz. Through targeted financial support of young talents and elite athletes, as well as assistance to clubs and schools, it aims to create optimal conditions and offset expenses in elite and youth sports.
Target groups
All sports clubs recognized as non-profit and based in Koblenz, as well as municipal schools offering competitive and youth sports, are eligible for funding. The focus is on particularly successful young athletes with national achievements and international prospects, as well as elite athletes from Olympic, Paralympic, Deaflympic, and non-Olympic sports.
