About the funder

The City of Cologne is a public law corporation and, as a modern municipal service administration with around 22,000 employees, is responsible for numerous tasks: from advising citizens in customer centers and via the citizen hotline to approval procedures in offices such as the Environmental and Consumer Protection Office, as well as infrastructure and urban development projects. With approximately 1,000 trainees and students, the city administration offers a wide range of vocational training and dual study programs. Cultural diversity, accessibility, and equality are central to the administrative culture.
