About the funder
The Kronberg Foundation is a non-profit, legally recognized ecclesiastical foundation, established in December 2007 and officially recognized by the Darmstadt Regional Council in March 2008. It promotes diverse social engagement within the Kronberg church community, particularly projects related to child, youth, and family work, senior citizen services, cultural exchange and dialogue, as well as educational and care initiatives. Since 2008, the foundation has supported community life through financial grants, endowments, and earmarked donations.

Mission & Vision
"We promote community – in the church space of Kronberg": The Kronberg Foundation aims to sustainably strengthen and secure social engagement within the local church community. The goal is the continuous expansion and solid earning power of the foundation's capital to continue existing projects and realize new ideas – from work with children and youth to fostering encounters between old and young.
Target groups
The funding programs are primarily aimed at stakeholders within the Kronberg church community. This includes children, adolescents, and families (e.g., Altkönigschule, KiTa Rappelkiste, confirmation trips), seniors and people with disabilities (e.g., diaconal station, taxi service to church), initiatives and associations in the fields of adult education, cultural exchange, and church music, as well as institutions requiring financial support for cultural, social, or technical acquisitions.
