Kunst-Kultur-Sport-Stiftung in der Gemeinde Schorfheide

The Art-Culture-Sports Foundation in the Municipality of Schorfheide is an independent foundation under civil law, established in 2007, with its headquarters in Finowfurt. It was founded as the first municipal foundation in the state of Brandenburg and possesses an endowed capital, the interest from which, along with additional donations, is used for the ongoing support of projects in the fields of art, culture, sports, as well as adult and youth education within the municipal area. The foundation supports non-profit associations, organizations, and individuals in the development of new offerings, the organization of events, and the establishment of cultural and sporting activities. Special emphasis is placed on promoting commitment, intercultural exchange (music and dance), and collaboration with the municipality’s youth coordinator.

Our mission is to sustainably strengthen the cultural and sporting life in the municipality of Schorfheide. We promote creative impulses and provide reliable financial support to initiatives in the fields of art, culture, and sports. We place great value on innovative projects, intercultural encounters, and skills development to foster a sense of community and shape the region as an attractive place to live and host events.

Non-profit organizations, associations, and initiatives based in the municipality of Schorfheide are eligible for funding. Primarily eligible for application are youth and adult education projects in the fields of art, culture, and sports, as well as initiatives that promote intercultural exchange, the establishment of new cultural offerings, or the further development of existing projects within the municipal area. Both individuals and groups may apply for financial grants for equipment, events, and training.
