About the funder

The Paul Kälberer Art Foundation was established on December 17, 2008, as a legal, non-profit foundation under civil law. The founders are the six children and four grandchildren of the painter and graphic artist Paul Kälberer, as well as the city of Sulz am Neckar and the district of Rottweil. The foundation manages the former studio building with its garden grounds and the extensive estate of the artist: over 700 etchings, more than 400 lithographs, over 3,000 drawings, as well as numerous textual and visual documents (diaries, correspondence, photographs). As a memorial site, it allows visits to the studio house in its authentic condition and presents rotating exhibitions of his paintings and graphics.
