About the funder
The Kurt Feirabend Foundation was established in September 1984 by Kurt Feirabend and is a legally recognized foundation under civil law, headquartered in southern Hesse. It exclusively and directly pursues charitable purposes in accordance with the German Fiscal Code. The foundation's goal is to support physically and mentally disabled children and adolescents up to the age of 18 with a disability degree of 80 to 100 percent. Funding is provided both directly to affected individuals and – up to a maximum of 49% of the annual proceeds – to tax-privileged care institutions such as workshops for disabled persons. In recent years, a total of approximately 750,000 euros in grants have been disbursed.

Mission & Vision
"Bringing joy to children…" Under this motto, the Kurt Feirabend Foundation is committed to providing help where it is urgently needed. All board members work on a voluntary basis, ensuring that every donated euro is passed on directly as financial support to physically and mentally disabled children and adolescents in southern Hesse.
Target groups
Eligible for funding are, on the one hand, individuals: physically and/or mentally disabled children and adolescents up to the age of 18 with a recognized degree of disability between 80 and 100%. On the other hand, tax-privileged care facilities and workshops for the disabled, which are dedicated to supporting physically and mentally disabled children and adolescents in southern Hesse, may receive grants of up to a maximum of 49% of their annual income.
