Mission & Vision
AMA aims to provide services of the highest quality and to secure agricultural value creation in Austria through efficient, legally compliant, and transparent processes. As an EU paying agency and national funding agency, it promotes sustainable, environmentally friendly, and market-oriented development of agriculture and rural areas. Through continuous optimization of internal processes and digital innovations, it supports policy, business, and science with meaningful market data and strengthens the competitiveness of the domestic agricultural and food industry.
Target groups
The AMA funding programs are primarily aimed at agricultural and forestry enterprises, producer organizations (e.g., in the fruit & vegetable sector), young farmers, LEADER regions (Local Action Groups), associations and non-profit organizations in rural areas, as well as companies in the agricultural processing and marketing industries. The objective is to support pilot and investment projects, cooperations, innovation initiatives, and marketing measures that contribute to the sustainable development of rural regions and the strengthening of agricultural markets.
