Mission & Vision
Our goal is to permanently reduce waste volumes in Vorarlberg and to use resources efficiently. We promote awareness-raising, innovation, and participatory projects in educational institutions, municipalities, and the economy. Through strategic planning, transparent information, and environmental assessments, we contribute to climate and environmental protection in the state.
Target groups
The Waste Management Department is aimed at citizens and municipalities wishing to implement waste separation and reduction measures; educational institutions and students (initiatives such as Level-V); companies and organizations seeking to develop or improve waste management concepts; as well as interest groups from business, agriculture, and the environment that provide feedback on the waste management plan or participate in strategic reviews.
