The State Office for Social Affairs and Supply of the State of Brandenburg (LASV) is a subordinate authority of the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs of the State of Brandenburg. With locations in Cottbus, Frankfurt (Oder), and Potsdam, it provides individual and institutional services as a service provider and partner to ensure an adequate quality of life. Its core tasks include the determination of severe disability, the granting of social and compensation benefits, supervision of supported living arrangements, as well as the administration of grants and funding programs in the areas of social affairs, care, integration, and health.

The LASV is aimed at severely disabled or equivalent persons and individuals in need of care in the state of Brandenburg, employers who wish to employ or train people with disabilities, municipal agencies and social institutions active in the fields of integration, care supervision, and social compensation, families, women, and associations applying for funding for social infrastructure, health, and equal opportunities, as well as institutions and companies seeking to implement grants in the state interest.
