Description
The state of Brandenburg supports low-income families with a flat-rate subsidy of €10 per overnight stay and accompanying family member. Funding is provided for stays in recognized accommodation establishments, family holiday centers, rented caravans/motorhomes, or campsites with a minimum duration of two and a maximum of 13 overnight stays. The funding targets family types eligible for benefits under the Federal Child Benefit Act, including single parents, families with disabled members, or those with a migration background. A prerequisite is residence or permanent stay in the state of Brandenburg, as well as a monthly total income up to 150% of the standard rates according to SGB II and SGB XII or the receipt of corresponding social benefits without separate income verification.
Applications must be submitted to the State Office for Social Affairs and Supply of the State of Brandenburg (LASV) no later than six weeks before the start of the trip. The application package includes a fully completed application form, a booking confirmation from the accommodation provider, proof of residence or stay, as well as income or benefit verification. Families facing particular hardship will be given preferential consideration during allocation. This funding aims to strengthen participation in restorative holiday stays, promote social integration, and ensure the health recovery of children and adults.
