About the funder
The Landesförderinstitut Mecklenburg-Vorpommern is the central funding service provider of the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern for the promotion of investments and modernizations in the areas of economy, housing and urban development, environment and energy, as well as agriculture. On behalf of the state, the institute implements numerous funding programs through grants and loan subsidies. As a legally dependent but organizationally and personnel-wise separate business unit of Norddeutsche Landesbank Girozentrale (NORD/LB), the LFI Mecklenburg-Vorpommern acts as a trustee and assumes sovereign tasks to implement funding measures quickly and efficiently.

As a competitively neutral partner, we assist private individuals, businesses, and municipalities in efficiently accompanying and implementing projects in the fields of economy, infrastructure, housing, environment, energy, and agriculture.
Target groups
The funding programs of the LFI M-V are aimed at a broad target group in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania: municipalities and public institutions, commercial enterprises, associations and organizations, as well as private investors and homeowners. Our offerings include low-interest loans and non-repayable grants, specifically tailored to the diverse needs of investors, project sponsors, and citizens.
