About the funder
The Department of Economic & Tourism Development of the City of Graz (“Wirtschaft Graz”) is the central service point for all businesses in Graz. As a municipal institution, it supports founders, small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as established companies on their path to success. In addition to financial grants (e.g., pop-up stores, rent and coworking subsidies, crowdfunding grants), it also offers non-monetary support such as consultations, networking events, and access to innovation spaces (LENDHAFEN, N4, Green Tech Hub). Acting as an interface between the city, the state of Styria, federal, and EU institutions, it promotes the economic development of key industries in Graz.

Mission & Vision
Our goal is to sustainably strengthen Graz as a business location, promote innovation and creativity, and create an optimal environment for founders and established companies. We support businesses with tailored funding programs, active networking, and services to drive economic growth, employment, and the quality of the location in Graz.
Target groups
Our funding and service offerings are aimed at all Graz-based entrepreneurs: founders and young companies up to five years after establishment, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), companies and associations from key sectors (mobility, human & biotechnology, energy & environmental technology, microelectronics, creative industries, tourism), as well as businesses pursuing innovative, sustainable, or socially relevant business models.
