Mission & Vision
The Landessportbund Nordrhein-Westfalen e. V. is committed to establishing sport and physical activity as central elements of a healthy, inclusive, and sustainable life in North Rhine-Westphalia. It promotes community within sports clubs, strengthens volunteer work, supports the training and further education of instructors, and collaborates in partnership with politics, business, and healthcare to inspire people of all ages and backgrounds to engage in sport.
Target groups
The funding and service offerings of the LSB NRW are aimed at sports clubs and associations in North Rhine-Westphalia, their members and volunteers, instructors, coaches, as well as sports federations. In addition, societal partners from education, health, integration, and the environment benefit from the projects and programs of the LSB NRW, which aim to establish sport as a means of health promotion, inclusion, and sustainability.
