About the funder

The District Office Dingolfing-Landau is the central administrative authority of the Dingolfing-Landau district in Lower Bavaria. Founded as part of the territorial reform in 1972, it currently serves approximately 101,035 inhabitants (as of 31.12.2024) across an area of 878 km². As a municipal authority, the District Office provides extensive services in the areas of general administration, building and environmental law, social affairs, health, economic development, and district planning. It supports the 15 district-affiliated municipalities as well as local businesses, promotes education and culture, organizes health and environmental protection programs, and ensures public safety.
