About the funder
The Landschaftsverband Rheinland (LVR) is a public-law corporation and municipal association headquartered in Cologne. It employs around 20,000 staff and carries out tasks throughout the Rhineland in disability and youth services, psychiatry, and cultural promotion. As the largest service provider for people with disabilities in Germany, the LVR operates 41 schools, ten clinics, the network of curative educational services, and 20 museums and cultural institutions. In addition, it supports and advises, among others, employers and severely disabled persons within the framework of its Inclusion Office.

Mission & Vision
Under the guiding principle "Quality for People," the LVR is committed to enabling people with disabilities and other groups in need to achieve the best possible participation and self-determination. It promotes innovative projects in the fields of culture, social affairs, youth, and health, and ensures high standards in all areas of life through expert advice and grants.
Target groups
The funding programs of the Landschaftsverband Rheinland (LVR) are aimed at the 13 independent cities, twelve districts, and the Städteregion Aachen as member bodies. In addition to municipal institutions, primarily sponsors and institutions involved in disability, youth, and cultural work benefit. Within the framework of the Inclusion Office, severely disabled individuals and their employers receive individual advice and support. Furthermore, museums, nature parks, schools, as well as social and psychiatric institutions can apply for funding.
