About the funder
The LANDWEGE Environmental Foundation was established in 2008 to promote the environmental education and ecological work of the LANDWEGE association on a long-term basis. Its endowment capital is preserved permanently, with only the interest income used for projects. The aim is to support initiatives that provide children, young people, and socially disadvantaged groups with hands-on experiences in sustainable agriculture, nature exploration, and healthy eating.

Mission & Vision
The LANDWEGE Environmental Foundation supports ecological and environmental education projects of the LANDWEGE association under the guiding principle "Preserving the Future." It is committed to promoting nature-compatible educational and experiential offerings that link resource and species conservation and provide young people with direct access to nature.
Target groups
The foundation's funding programs primarily target children and adolescents – including many from socially disadvantaged families. At the Youth Nature Conservation Farm and in other environmental education projects, they learn about ecological agriculture, healthy nutrition, and experiences in nature.
