Mission & Vision

The goal of LAFVE is to enable young people from Latin America, who lack their own resources due to their social environment, to receive high-quality training in a technical profession in Germany. The foundation promotes individual potential, educational background, and personal motivation to ensure that, upon completion of their training, they can make a positive contribution to society and the economy in their home countries with the knowledge and experience gained, and to sustainably deepen German-Latin American relations.

Target groups

The funding programs of LAFVE are aimed at young adults from Latin America with sufficient German language skills (at least B1), a completed school education, and special personal maturity. Applicants should demonstrate social commitment, motivation for technical vocational training, and the intention to return to their home countries after successful completion in order to apply the acquired expertise for the benefit of society and the economy.
