The Lehnhardt Foundation is a non-profit foundation, established in 1994 by Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Ernst Lehnhardt and Dr. Dr. h.c. Monika Lehnhardt-Goriany. It promotes the early detection, early identification, and aftercare of hearing disorders in children worldwide. The foundation supports educational, psychological, and technical long-term care for deaf and profoundly hard-of-hearing children who are fitted with hearing aids and/or cochlear implants. This includes informational materials for parents, training for professionals, as well as international rehabilitation projects and partnerships (e.g., with GIZ).
