About the funder
The Lelbach Foundation is a non-profit foundation established in 2008 in Berlin by entrepreneur Abris Lelbach, with its headquarters in Berlin and a branch office in Potsdam. It is recognized as charitable and non-profit (Tax No. 27/606/52923, Tax Office for Corporations I, Berlin) and operates according to the principles of good foundation practice as defined by the Association of German Foundations. The foundation’s capital is primarily invested in income-generating, historically significant real estate, with the aim of promoting projects in the fields of art, culture, environment, social affairs, and international understanding in the medium to long term through the generated income. Past engagements include, among others, the sculpture competition “Art in Public Space” in Potsdam, historical reconstructions in Frankfurt Old Town, the construction of an art museum in Potsdam, as well as projects supporting people with disabilities and the cultural initiative BERLIN-BUDAPEST.

Mission & Vision
