About the funder
The LindenLimmerStiftung is a non-profit community foundation for the districts of Linden and Limmer in Hanover. Founded in November 2007 based on a city council resolution and financed through initial funding from the city as well as committed citizens, it supports volunteer projects in the fields of education, upbringing, and social affairs. Economically and politically independent as well as non-denominational and non-partisan, it has, in accordance with its statutes, exclusively supported projects in the Linden-Limmer district since 2007 with funding of up to €10,000 annually (depending on interest income and donations). By January 2026, 277 projects have been funded with a total of EUR 162,214.70.

Mission & Vision
The LindenLimmer Foundation is committed to improving coexistence and community cohesion in the Linden-Limmer district. By supporting educational, upbringing, and social projects, we aim to sustainably enhance the quality of life locally and promote civic engagement.
Target groups
Non-profit projects and organizations in the Linden-Limmer district are supported, provided they make active contributions to education, upbringing, and social cohesion. Eligible to apply are individuals, associations, and initiatives with innovative, community-oriented projects that strengthen local solidarity and promote cultural as well as social diversity.
