About the funder
The Liselotte Stockmeyer Foundation (registered association) is a legal foundation under civil law based in Versmold. It was established by the founder Ekkehard Risken in memory of his art- and theater-loving mother Liselotte Stockmeyer. The foundation exclusively and directly promotes charitable purposes, in particular the German theater and concert scene in the regions of Bielefeld, Osnabrück, and Münster. Additionally, it is committed to the preservation of listed theater and concert buildings as well as to musical education in schools.

Mission & Vision
The Liselotte Stockmeyer Foundation is committed to preserving and further developing the cultural heritage of theater and concerts in Germany. As a financial and ideological supporter, it promotes regional and supra-regional projects, awards artistic prizes, and strengthens the preservation of performance venues as monuments. Its goal is to keep theater alive as a social educational mandate and to preserve it for future generations.
Target groups
The recipients of the funding activities are theater and concert organizers, non-profit associations, foundations, as well as schools in the focus regions of Bielefeld, Osnabrück, and Münster. Both professional and amateur projects that provide cultural added value are supported, as well as initiatives for the preservation and maintenance of historic buildings in accordance with monument protection and musical education programs at schools.
