About the funder
The Lukas Podolski Foundation is a legally recognized civil law foundation based in Cologne, founded in 2010 by football world champion Lukas Podolski. Driven by the awareness that family support and targeted encouragement pave the way to success, it is committed to opening up new perspectives for disadvantaged children and young people through sport and education. Nationally and internationally, the foundation supports sustainable, sport-based projects that have already proven their effectiveness and transfers facilities such as playgrounds or sports grounds to municipal ownership upon completion.

Mission & Vision

Target groups
