About the funder
The Lusebrink Children's Foundation Dortmund is a non-profit trust foundation under the umbrella of the Donors' Association of Sparkasse Dortmund. Founded by Christiane and Jörg Lusebrink with the aim of helping disadvantaged children, adolescents, and orphans in Germany, it finances and supports social and child welfare projects. Since 2018, the foundation has allocated donations 100% directly to the selected aid projects without any administrative deductions. To date, it has supported, among others, children's hospices, youth hostels, shared housing for people with disabilities, and low-threshold support services in Dortmund with amounts ranging from 1,000 to 10,000 euros per project.

Our mission is to achieve more together by directly passing on donations 100% without administrative costs to child and youth welfare projects as a non-profit and charitable foundation. We believe in the power of community engagement and aim to contribute sustainably to improving the living conditions of children, adolescents, and orphans in difficult life situations.
Target groups
The Lusebrink Children's Foundation is aimed at non-profit organizations and projects in the field of child and youth welfare, as well as organizations committed to orphans and disadvantaged young people. Funding is particularly provided for initiatives that enable children and adolescents to experience a self-determined and secure way of life, as well as projects that support young people in difficult life situations.
