About the funder
Mahle-Stiftung GmbH is a non-profit foundation founded in 1964 by Hermann and Dr. Ernst Mahle, who contributed their company shares in the MAHLE Group to the foundation. The foundation holds 99.9% of the shares in the globally operating automotive supplier MAHLE GmbH. With the profits from these shares, Mahle-Stiftung has been supporting around 120 projects worldwide annually for over 55 years in the fields of health and care, agriculture and nutrition, education and upbringing, as well as art and culture. It places special emphasis on initiatives based on anthroposophy and supports both start-up funding and long-term projects, including the establishment and expansion of the anthroposophical Filderklinik.

Organizations in the fields of health and care, biodynamic agriculture and nutrition, Waldorf education, as well as art and culture are supported, with the goal of enhancing their effectiveness and sustainability through start-up funding or long-term support.
