The Malteser Foundation is a legally independent, non-profit foundation established in 2003 by the Order of Malta and the Malteser Hilfsdienst e. V. with an initial capital of 100,000 euros. It offers private individuals, companies, and those interested in foundations the opportunity to easily establish their own foundation under its umbrella or to engage in other ways as donors or supporters. The capital granted and its proceeds are carefully managed and permanently flow into projects aimed at improving human life and alleviating suffering in Germany and worldwide.
