Margarete Ammon Stiftung

Founded in 2002, the non-profit Margarete Ammon Foundation aims to act for the benefit of people and to promote creativity and invention in the fields of natural sciences, technology, ecology, and culture. The foundation is both supportive and operational, assisting selected projects of third parties verified for their non-profit status or implementing its own initiatives. The main funding priorities include human medicine, particularly for women, landscape management and nature conservation in Bavaria, vocational training outside the academic sector, gender equality, arts and culture, as well as charitable causes in Bavaria.

The Margarete Ammon Foundation is committed to supporting research and innovative projects that promise social, ecological, or cultural benefits and advance creative solutions in the fields of natural sciences, technology, and social sciences. It aims to strengthen a sense of responsibility and equal opportunities and to make a sustainable contribution to the common good through targeted funding.

Funding programs are aimed at non-profit organizations and initiatives, in particular foundations, associations, research institutions, as well as individuals and groups whose projects promise social, ecological, or cultural benefits. Supported are research and development activities, training and further education initiatives, collaborations with universities and non-university institutes, scholarships, awards, conferences, as well as measures for landscape conservation and the promotion of gender equality.
