Marianne und Reinhard Wolf-Stiftung

The Marianne & Reinhard Wolf Foundation was established in 2000 by the couple Marianne and Reinhard Wolf. As a charitable and benevolent foundation, it provides direct and unbureaucratic support to people who have fallen into hardship through no fault of their own. The focus is on children and families in the regions of Upper Palatinate (Bavaria) and Thuringia. Since its founding, the foundation has been able to help in over a thousand cases—mostly with amounts of a few hundred euros—to overcome acute emergencies such as lack of winter clothing, broken household appliances, or participation in school trips. Funding is provided through annual contributions from the WOLF corporate group, proceeds from charity events, as well as donations from companies and private individuals. Administrative costs are fully covered by the WOLF corporate group, ensuring that incoming donations benefit the foundation’s purpose 100% directly.

The Marianne & Reinhard Wolf Foundation aims to provide unbureaucratic and targeted assistance to innocent people in distress, especially children and families. The focus is on swift and straightforward support to alleviate acute emergencies and to enable those affected to regain quality of life and participation in social life in the short term.

Primarily supported are children, adolescents, and families from the regions of Upper Palatinate and Thuringia who find themselves in financial distress due to illness, accident, or other unforeseen misfortunes beyond their control. The foundation targets those seeking assistance who are unable, through their own means, to cover urgent expenses such as furniture, clothing, class trip fees, or household appliances.
