Mission & Vision
The Max Buchner Research Foundation is committed to overcoming financial barriers for early-career researchers participating in international and national professional conferences. Our goal is to promote professional exchange, enable young researchers to present their current projects, and support the development of international networks. We believe that presenting one's own research findings and engaging in dialogue with experts are crucial for the scientific development and innovative strength of our field.
Target groups
Eligible to apply are early-career researchers at universities and non-university research institutions up to eight years after completing their doctorate. The foundation supports applicants who wish to present their scientific and technical work in the form of a lecture or poster at professional conferences, congresses, and symposia. The target group includes doctoral candidates, postdoctoral researchers, and habilitation candidates who aim to contribute to the advancement of chemical-technical and biotechnological research.
