About the funder
The Mehlhorn Foundation supports science and research in the field of pedagogy with a focus on creativity school institutions and comparable public and independent organizations. It places special emphasis on the promotion of giftedness in children and adolescents, the publication of creativity-pedagogical works in its own book series (KREAplus), as well as the promotion of good scientific practice through awards such as the LEGE-ARTIS PRIZE and the WIN PRIZE. Furthermore, it organizes projects such as the Mathematics Olympiad and the virtual KREAgallery.

Mission & Vision

The funding programs of the Mehlhorn Foundation are aimed at children and adolescents as well as at institutions oriented towards creativity education (schools, after-school care centers) and their sponsors. It also addresses scientists and professionals in the field of creativity education and educational research who develop and implement innovative projects, publications, or scientific works.
