Mission & Vision
The Arnsberg District Government is committed to a diverse and inclusive cultural and sports landscape in North Rhine-Westphalia. It promotes the self-organization of socio-cultural centers, supports regional networking projects as well as both emerging and established cultural practitioners. Through transparent procedures and targeted advice, it creates optimal conditions for sustainable, innovative, and accessible cultural initiatives.
Target groups
The funding programs of the Arnsberg District Government are aimed at independent organizations, associations and initiatives, socio-cultural centers, cultural practitioners, and groups from the independent scene, as well as private individuals and privately organized companies. Projects that are interdisciplinary, address social issues, or exploit regional cultural development potentials are supported. Special attention is given to inclusive initiatives, collaborations across city and district boundaries, as well as projects by underrepresented artists.
