MF-Stiftung gegen Altersarmut in Südbaden

The MF Foundation Against Elderly Poverty in South Baden was established on December 6, 2015, by Manfred Friebolin as a legally capable, non-profit foundation under civil law. The foundation is based in Bötzingen. Its purpose is the financial support and counseling of needy elderly individuals who were born, raised, and living in South Baden, have fallen into hardship through no fault of their own, and cannot receive private assistance by other means. The foundation manages an initial capital of EUR 120,000, supplemented by endowments from third parties. The allocation of funds is decided on a case-by-case basis by resolution of the foundation’s board.

Our mission is to support elderly fellow citizens in South Baden who have fallen into hardship through no fault of their own. We are committed to ensuring that no one is left alone in old age and offer straightforward financial assistance as well as personal counseling. Through responsible management of our resources, we aim to sustainably promote social justice in old age.

The funding programs of the MF Foundation are aimed at elderly people who were born, raised, and reside in South Baden and who, despite an irreproachable lifestyle, have fallen into old-age poverty due to unforeseen life circumstances. Support is provided to individuals who have already exhausted private sources of assistance and require support through a one-time or recurring grant as well as personal care.
