About the funder
The Ministry of Labour, Health and Social Affairs NRW is the highest state authority of the federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia for the policy areas of labour, health, and social affairs. As a central actor, MAGS NRW shapes the framework conditions for a competitive labour market, manages hospital planning and healthcare provision as well as care and social policy. It coordinates funding programs (e.g., ESF co-financed measures), supervises social insurance institutions, supports municipalities and civil society actors, thereby contributing to social security and equal opportunities in NRW. Under the motto "Labour.Health.Social Affairs. With people for people." the ministry contributes to the sustainable development of society and the economy.

Mission & Vision

The funding programs and political measures of MAGS NRW are aimed at employees and job seekers in North Rhine-Westphalia, employers, companies and municipal job centers, institutions and providers in the health and care sector, social organizations and associations involved in inclusion, poverty alleviation and social welfare, people with disabilities, long-term unemployed and other vulnerable groups, as well as initiatives and projects implementing innovations in the fields of labor, health, and social affairs.
