Mission & Vision

Our mission is to shape a modern, connected, and sustainable infrastructure in Saxony-Anhalt and to advance the digital transformation. We promote efficient mobility systems, strengthen both rural and urban areas through demand-oriented expansion of transport and supply networks, and create the legal and organizational framework conditions for comprehensive digitization of administration, economy, and society. In doing so, we place great emphasis on accessibility, environmental protection, and citizen-oriented communication.

Target groups

The funding opportunities and programs of the Ministry are aimed at municipalities (districts, cities, communities), transport and housing companies, infrastructure providers, research institutions, as well as private and public actors who plan and implement infrastructure, transport, or digitization projects in Saxony-Anhalt. The goal is to particularly support projects that pursue innovative concepts for sustainable mobility, digital transformation, and the needs-based expansion of residential and living space.
